Prof. HAN Xiping, Vice Chairman of the University Council, Jilin University (JLU), led a delegation to visit the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICCARAS) on April 4, meeting with Professor Kirill Babaev, Director of the institute and Vice Chairman of the Russia-China Friendship Association.

Babaev welcomed the delegation, expressing ICCARAS’ commitment to strengthening collaborations with JLU, its most significant partner across multiple disciplines.

HAN also highly regarded ICCARAS and noted that it is the leading think tank in Russia for issues related to China and the Asian region, stating that JLU looks forward to continuing to work with ICCARAS.

Both sides thoroughly communicated and agreed to continue jointly holding high-level international conferences, writing research reports, and publishing academic papers.
