JLU professor delivers lectures at LMSU in Russia
On March 19-25, under the invitation of Lomonosov Moscow State University (LMSU), XU Bo, Vice Dean and professor of the College of Northeast Asian Studies at Jilin University (JLU), delivered academic lectures at the Political Department of LMSU.
His lectures elaborated on China’s diplomacy in the new era and analyzed the historical logic and endogenous force of the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Russia, which led to discussions and reflections among Russian teachers and students, deepening their understanding of the Chinese development path and policies in the new era.
He also delivered a report at the Political Research Conference in memory of the 270th anniversary of the establishment of LMSU, which was praised by experts from various countries.
During the visit, Professor XU talked with Professor Shutov, Director of the Political Department at LMSU, corresponding academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and member of the Central Election Commission of Russia, about strengthening cooperation among think tanks and the connection between universities.
This academic activity has helped expand the academic influence of JLU’s College of Northeast Asian Studies in Russia and promoted communication between think tanks in China and Russia.
