Clarivate Analytics released the latest data from the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) on Nov 14, placing Jilin University’s (JLU) chemistry discipline for the first time in the top 1‱  globally – a milestone that marks its entry into the ranks of the world’s most elite research programs.

Updated bimonthly, the ESI database analyzes citation performance across 22 major subject areas to evaluate scientific output and monitor research trends.
